About Aaron Cooper

Aaron Cooper is a young musician. At the ripe ol' age of 3, Aaron pursued a modeling career in Lubbock Texas and a year later got signed to a child talent agency in Tampa Florida. He has done work with Maytag, Bugle Boy, Toys R Us, Nintendo, Nerf, Target, and also appeared in a Florida statewide Police and Fire training video on neighborhood and water safety. Aaron's modeling work lasted until age 6, when he took other opportunities in music.

At the age of four Aaron participated in a gospel/blues singing trio which consisted of his older brother, and older cousin. The trio recorded 2 albums and performed through out Florida and surrounding states for two years before management issues brought the group to a halt. Aaron, at age 6 and a half, then accompanied his older brother on tour in Spain, where he met a producer named Jim that eventually decided to work with Aaron. Aaron flew home to Florida, recorded a few songs, and Jim introduced an A&R rep from a record label based out of Germany, and within a couple of months Aaron was signed to a 5 album contract at seven years old.

Aaron has sold over 464,000 copies of all his combined records to date. Aaron has also closely worked with the "Make a Wish Foundation" since 2002, even recording a song in support of the cause. Also in 2002 Aaron was nominated for "Best new artist" by Popcorn magazine, and then was awarded a Bravo Otto award for "Best new male artist" by Bravo magazine in the same year. In 2005 Aaron again was nominated for "Best children's song" by Bravo magazine and performed live on Bravo TV in support of his nomination. In 2003 he auditioned for a talent television show called American Juniors. He made the cut, yet was pulled from the show due to previous contracts.

Aaron's music has landed him gigs all over the world, including Germany, Spain, Japan, Ireland, Argentina, France, England, Canada and Sweden. Aaron toured, recorded and did promotions with this label for 4 years before getting dropped at age 11 and a half due to his parents and his label's differences.
